Prince George has many skating options available during the winter season from civic arenas to community association-run outdoor rinks and the Prince George Outdoor Ice Oval.
Indoor public skating season runs from October to March at the Elksentre or Rolling Mix Concrete Arenas.
Please note masks are mandatory in public areas inside City facilities.
The Prince George Ice Oval and Community Association-run rinks are great open-air skating options.

The flooding and use of hydrants and standpipes at Community Association outdoor drinks are done by Certified Ice Rink Captains. Only volunteers who have attended the City of Prince George Ice Making Workshop and possess current certification can operate this equipment. The City offers this free workshop each year in November. Spots are limited.
