The CN Centre is a 5,971-seat multi-purpose arena owned by the City of Prince George. Designed by PBK Architects, the Centre opened in 1995 and includes amenities such as 14 luxury suites.
The facility has a 200 ft. x 85 ft. ice surface, and is able to convert to an Olympic-sized ice surface of 200 feet x 100 feet and is complemented with five dressing rooms, office space and official's rooms. It is home to the Prince George Cougars ice hockey team of the Western Hockey League. The CN Centre prides itself on top quality ice surfaces for any event whether it is curling, speed skating, hockey or other sport and training purposes.
For over twenty years the CN Centre has been Prince George's gathering place for premier events. The CN Centre links with the three Kin Centre arenas, creating a multi-functional four arena complex.
Food services available at the CN Centre are provided by Eurest Foods – part of the Compass Group of Companies. They bring experience from the 2015 Canada Winter and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. In CN Centre, there are four concessions, which are complimented by eight food kiosks, and several beverage outlets. The facility's main kitchen services the fourteen private suites, hospitality rooms, and in house banquets. Other services include a full range of audio, visual, electrical and internet connections.
The 2,000 well-lit parking stalls and designated areas for tour and transport buses make the facility accessible from all angles.
